Terms of Use
1. Your license
Steel Peak is licensed to you under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). The licensor is Turgano Technologies LLC ("we"). The terms below add to the Standard EULA. If anything here conflicts with it, the Standard EULA applies.
2. Wellness, not medical advice
Steel Peak gives general fitness and nutrition guidance for adults. It isn't medical advice. It doesn't diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition, and it doesn't replace a doctor, physical therapist or dietitian.
Check with your doctor before you start a new exercise or nutrition program, especially if you have a health condition or injury, are pregnant or recently gave birth, or take medication. Stop exercising and get help if you feel pain, dizziness, chest pain or unusual shortness of breath. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
3. Training is your choice and your responsibility
- Exercise carries a risk of injury. You decide whether to do each exercise and how much weight to use.
- Use good form and safe, working equipment, and use a spotter where one is needed. Skip anything that doesn't feel right.
- Outdoors, stay aware of traffic and your surroundings. Don't look at your phone while moving.
4. Estimates can be wrong
Plans, readiness and recovery scores, calorie and nutrition figures, rep counts and distances are estimates. Food values come from public databases (USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts) and may contain errors. Use your own judgment.
5. Subscriptions
If you subscribe, Apple bills you through your Apple Account. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. If you start a free trial, you'll be charged when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. You can manage or cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Apple handles refunds under its own policies.
6. Fair use
You must be at least 13 to use Steel Peak. Don't misuse the app: don't reverse-engineer it, interfere with it, or use it to break the law.
7. Third-party content
Nutrition data comes from USDA FoodData Central (public domain). Barcode lookups use Open Food Facts, whose data is available under the Open Database License. Those services and their data belong to their owners.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with a new effective date. If you keep using Steel Peak after a change, you accept the updated terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA. That doesn't take away any protection your local consumer law gives you.
